In this episode of Church Unboxed I’m joined by Penny Lyon, Gloucestershire-based lead singer of blues/jazz/gospel group ‘Out Of The Ashes’. Penny who suffered several miscarriages - 10 to be precise - shares her story of coping with the grief of loss through miscarriages and what role faith and the church played in her journey to healing.
Having also suffered from multiple miscarriages which were a major test of my faith, I know first-hand how difficult it is coping with loss and how lonely and depressing it feels. Penny’s story really resonated with me and in light of the many different losses we have suffered through Covid-19, I hope this episode brings hope to listeners who may be going through similar experiences or struggling with grief and loss.
