Newcomer Sarah Téibo Bags MOBO Nomination

2016 Premier Gospel Awards and GXMM Awards Nominee Sarah Téibo has been shortlisted in the Best Gospel Act category of the MOBO awards. Being the only female nominated in this category, Sarah describes it as “a wonderful milestone in the journey so far!”, having launched her music career in 2015 with her debut single’ Steal My Joy’; which debuted at Number 2 on the UK Christian Charts in December 2015.

Following the release of her debut album ‘Walk With Me’; in May 2016, the married mum of two who describes her family as her biggest inspiration recently headlined a sold-out concert with STELLAR Award nominee Lisa McClendon in London. Also appearing at the concert were MOBO Award winners Lurine Cato and Triple O.

Her toe-tapping follow-up video single ‘New Day’ was released in June 2016 and peaked at number 3 on the UK Christian Charts. Sarah describes ‘New Day’ as an encouragement for herself and career mums and the perfect ‘pick-me- up song in the morning’. She adds that this mid-tempo track could be used as a cue for TV and Radio Breakfast programming. The lyric video for New Day can be viewed
